| The most important part of the game of Baseball is defence. The person who leads the defence is the pitcher. The pitcher also controls the tempo of the game. A pitcher cabn throw a variety of pitches that can either confuse the batter or try and blow it past him. The most commen type of pitch is the fastball which is ussualy thrown to try and blow the ball past the batter. The second is changeup which is a fastball that is very slow. The third is the curveball which comes in like a change up but then just falls to the ground. |
