The Homerun has been what baseball has come to be. What I mean by this is everybody whats to see the homerun. This era in baseball is known as the homerun era because majority of teams runs are scored off the homerun. The event the Homerun Derby is basically a competition of 6 people trying to hit as many homeruns as they can. This picture is of the most recent Homerun Derby winner Aaron Judge who broke the rookie record for homeruns in a single season this year. The homerun can also be very dissapointing because it devastates other teams espicially walk-off homeruns. The walk-off homerun is when a team wins the game off a homerun.
